A little more about Volleyball Providence, Rhode Island.

Providence is Rhode Island’s largest city as well as its capital. It is best known for having the largest number of restaurants per capita in the USA and the elite culinary school at Johnson and Wales means that the city is home to the largest number of chefs with degrees of any city in the USA. Providence is also a college town, which means a proliferation of cafes, art centers, bars and other recreational facilities. Hotels and places to stay abound, while public parks, museums, performance arts centers, zoos and other attractions can all be accessed within one day. For sports lovers can have access to both indoor and outdoor facilities, where they can play volleyball, beach pong, dodgeball and others. Proximity to the beach means you can play your favorite sport to the sound of crashing waves, while enjoying great weather, food and drinks with friends.

The Super Fun Activities Club is an RI sports and social club where you can get to play Volleyball Providence, meet new members and make new friends.  SFAC, which is free to join, has partnered with several sporting facilities to provide members with great venues to take part in their favorite sports, polish up their volleyball skills and interact with other similar minded players. SFAC’s leagues feature several Volleyball Providence games, so that you never have to miss out on your favorite sport no matter how busy you are. The availability of both indoor and outdoor venues means you can choose to play indoors on a temperature controlled court, or take in some fresh air and sunshine next to the ocean.

SFAC sporting events are held both during the week and weekends and feature both night and day activities to cater to the needs of different members. Members take part just for fun, while making friendships that last for years.  SFAC also runs charity tournaments where the proceeds from the games to to support various charities in Providence. Goddard Park, The MET, Narraganset and Scarborough Beach are some of the most popular venues. SFAC Volleyball Providence attracts both skilled and unskilled players, all with a profound love of having fun and making new friends.  Club rules dictate that members keep the competition friendly even as they try to compete in a fair manner.  Lying and/or cheating are simply not tolerated.  Poor sportsmanship falls in the same category.  Demonstrate these qualities and we’ll be sure to point you in the direction of other leagues that would love to have you!   Registration is available throughout the year and can be done online. Members can sign up for email alerts so that they can be kept in the loop with regard to upcoming events.
