Dodgeball Newport RISFAC uses soft foam dodgeballs that DON’T HURT!!!

The Super Fun Activities Club makes sure that dodgeball is indeed Super Fun!!!  Like all of our sports leagues, the emphasis is on having fun, making friends, getting exercise, networking and winning (in that order).  Dodgeball is co-ed and 21+.

League Play Format:

  • at least one female on the court for each team
  • first team to 5 wins is declared the victor
  • teams are encouraged to have extra players to account for absences

How To Register (As an Individual):

  • Click the “Register Now” button (taking you to the dodgeball registration page)
  • Click “Register Player” button
  • Login or create user account for new members
  • Either enter as a free agent and we’ll pair you up with some soon to be friends.  Or “request to join a team” and enter the captain’s name or team name in the field below
  • If you are registering with a friend(s) and want to play together, please list their names in the text box.  You will be added as a small group to a team
  • HAVE FUN

How to Register (As a Group):

  • Click the “Register Now” button (taking you to the dodgeball registration page)
  • Click “Register Group” button
  • Login or create user account for new members
  • Start your own team or request your group gets added to an existing team by entering their name or captain’s name.  Use our site to email at least four of your friends inviting them to play.
  • HAVE FUN

How to Register (as a team):

  • Same as Group Registration except invite at least 14 of your closest friends to join your team!!!

We don’t use the hard inflatable red balls that most people associate with gym class from your childhood.  We use balls specifically designed for dodgeball that are made of a soft foam.  Their lightweight design allows for high velocity throws and participation from all skill levels.  No matter how fast they’re coming, the impact results in laughter more than anything else.
