A little more about Flag Football Providence, Rhode Island.

Providence, Rhode Island’s capital city, is a relatively small city offering a variety of delightful attractions to both tourists and locals. Eating places, historical buildings, art centers, festivals and sporting activities abound here, which means that there is something for everyone no matter how discriminating their tastes. Sports lovers will find a plethora of facilities to help them enjoy their favorite sporting activity, in addition to meeting people who share their passions. There are both indoor and outdoor facilities, which means that you never have to miss a game due to bad weather, or have to be cooped up inside when you could be participating in a game on the beach, enjoying the sunny weather.

The Super Fun Activities Club’s calendar incorporates flag football games in the forms of leagues and special event fundraisers.  This gives a chance to both busy professionals and people who have a little extra time on their hands to take part in their favorite game, flag football.  While some events outside of SFAC are purely competitive, with a clear winner and real prizes, SFAC focuses on the more important parts of the game.  Our events are purely for fun, exercise and social interaction, or also in support of various charitable events in Providence.  A good example is the Narragansett Flag Football Event which was held on the 26^th of November 2016.  Money raised from this event went to the Save the Bay organization which keeps Providence beaches clean and safe. Participants did not go home empty handed either as everyone who signed up received a ‘Save the Bay’ rubber duck stress reliever.

Flag football Providence events take place throughout the year thanks to the availability of both indoor and outdoor facilities. Rules are simple: follow the basic rules of the game, play nice and above all, be honest. In a bid to maintain the camaraderie and feelings of goodwill among members, the club maintains that dishonest and extremely competitive people are not welcomed.  We are for fun and friendly people only.  If you feel the need to cheat in a children’s game, you are not for us.  Flag Football Providence allows you to enjoy the wonderful weather and beautiful beaches during the summer, or polish up your skills and make new friends at several indoor facilities. Membership to SFAC is open to all (assuming you are 21 and fun) and completely free of charge. You can choose to join individually or as part of a group in order to enjoy even more benefits.
