League Information

Read this BEFORE you register:

Sunday Flag Football is a part of SFAC Sunday FUNdays – 5 sports leagues at the same location over the course of the day.  When registering, please select the sport(s) you’d like to play!

This league is For Fun People Only!  If you care too much or argue or are a general pain in the ass, please go play somewhere else.  If you want to get some healthy exercise and social interaction, then welcome!  This is a recreational league.  Always keep that in mind.  Play hard.  Play fair.  Be a good sport and make some new friends on the field.

Flag Football is part of SFAC Sunday FUNday!   We will have the grill going all afternoon 🙂

Rules:

SFAC has their own set of flag football rules.  Our rules encourage sportsmanship, competition and most of all, fun!  SFAC flag football rules are very similar to traditional schoolyard rules.

Flag Football Rosters:

  • Consist of 12 or more players
  • Players of any gender are welcomed on the field at all times

Flag Football League Play Format:

  • 8 vs 8
  • Players of all genders are welcomed on the field at all times
  • Taking substitute players from another team in the league results in a forfeit.  You can play with your league roster and have the results count, or you can take subs and take an automatic loss.
  • If your team is going to be short (less than 8 players), you can invite players from outside the league to join you (they must sign the online liability waiver to participate).  An individual player from outside the league is allowed as a valid sub one time (and never in a JAMBOREE).  If that individual would like to play again, they must register to play in the league.

-5 minute Penalty Box.  If you are being an argumentative jackass and causing any social disruption (ie arguing, being a general pain in the ass) you will sit out for 5 minutes.  It’ll give you some time to cool down and think about the proper perspective.  Just keep it fun!

All registrations are final sales.  There are no refunds given under any circumstance.
